One of the most confusing and misunderstood topics in Scripture is the “kingdom of heaven.” And yet Jesus says that it is the reason for his entire mission: “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.” (Luke 4:43) What does this mean?
